“Deformities of the head and neck region resulting from cancer treatment, congenital malformation or traumatic injuries can be devastating on physical structure and function and frequently result in severe compromises in quality of life. Rehabilitation is a complex process best achieved through a multidisciplinary approach combining advanced surgical and prosthetic reconstructive procedures. One of our goals at the Weintraub Center is to evaluate the outcomes of various treatments through randomized clinical trials and develop new novel approaches that will further push the envelope.”
