She was raised speaking Greek in the home and expanded her knowledge of the culture and language through yearly visits to Greece, as well as by attending St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox School. I was baptized Efrosini Marjorie Bacol at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Greek Orthodox Church in Long Beach, California. As both my parents are first generation Greek Americans, I spent my childhood immersed in the Greek Orthodox culture and faith. Living in San Francisco, throughout my dental school education, has been quite the experience.  Not only is it a beautiful city but also there is a lot of outreach program opportunities that allow me to give back to the community.
